So Courtney and Krista celebrated Mother’s Day together by cooking up a storm in the kitchen and baking a cake.
But even a family affair couldn’t stop the aspiring singer from baring as much flesh as possible in an extremely skimpy outfit.
Is that really appropriate?: Courtney Stodden wore a very skimpy outfit to bake a cake with mother Krista for Mother's Day
Courtney accessorised her outfit with her trademark Lucite stripper shoes and gold snake armband, as well as large hoop earrings and a flower barrette in her wavy blonde locks.
With a full-face of heavy make-up, the teen and her mother and manager baked and decorated a cake which Courtney iced with the words ‘I heart Mom’ before covering it in strawberries.
Trademark accessories: Courtney wore her favourite Lucite stripper shoes along with a flower barrette and gold hoop earrings
Just for show: Courtney sported a tiny white apron that served no purpose other than to add to her look
Getting hot in the kitchen: The 17-year-old bared a lot of flesh in a black lace bustier and miniskirt
Thirsty work: Courtney drank milk from the carton during the day of baking and displayed her tummy in the process
The mother and daughter duo also took part in an interview as they made the most of the holiday together, in which they spoke about their close bond.
Courtney said the best advice her mother has given her is ‘to always stay positive and be yourself’.
Teamwork: The pair worked together to create the cake in celebration of Mother's Day
Supportive: Krista has stood by Courtney throughout the controversy surrounding her marriage to 51-year-old Doug Hutchison
Flour power: The pair showed off their close bond as the mixed ingredients together
Seeing the similarities: Courtney seems to have inherited her mother and manager's smile
And Courtney says she and Doug, who celebrate their first wedding anniversary next weekend, won’t be having children any time soon.
The star said: ‘No, my puppies are my babies. No babies. And we have beautiful puppies to infatuate with love. But I'd be a great mom if I had a child because I had a wonderful mother growing up - I still do.’
Tucking in: Krista ate gracefully with a fork but Courtney used her hands to eat the cake
Tea for two: The pair washed down their cake with a pot of tea
Doting daughter: Courtney let Krista sit back and relax while she served up the tasty snack
The fruits of their labour: The pair certainly seemed to be enjoying the cake as they each tucked into a generous slice
She said: ‘I would rather have her do this in front of me. Her friends would sneak this stuff in the house, put on their high shoes, then go home in their little shoes and their parents would have no idea. I thought, that is so sad because these parents think “my daughter would never dress like that.”
'Yeah, not in front of you, but behind your back it’s another story. If it wasn't endangering her, I wanted her to feel free to be herself.’
'I heart Mom': Courtney planted a loving kiss on her mother's cheek once they had finished baking
Proud: The duo displayed their sponge cake which was iced appropriately for Mother's Day
Topping it off: Courtney and her mother decorated the cake with strawberries and pink icing
