And voluptuous singer Adele certainly took note, quickly becoming their biggest fan.
And now after a groundbreaking SS12 season launch, design duo Clements Ribeiro in collaboration with Evans are back for AW12, with an eclectic collection that is sure to get every shapenista rushing to get her hands on it.
Guess who's back? The designer duo are launching a new collection with high street giant Evans
Print perfect: The duo proved that curvy women can wear prints and bold colours
Dresses remain at the core of the collection which are complemented by sophisticated separates, with an emphasis on autumnal colours such as burgundy, tan, cobalt blue, dark violet and black.
Commenting on the collaboration, Inacio Ribeiro said: 'It has been a pleasure to work on this pioneering project. With this second collection we gained a lot more confidence and brought the range closer to our current fashion interests.
Original prints include watercolour pansies, constructivist tulips and the designers favourite ‘Salome’ print, influenced by Aubrey Beardsley’s darkly sensuous artwork.
In addition Clements Ribeiro have created timeless investment pieces, such as the toggle cape coat, corsage cardi and the black peplum dress – a wicked take on the LBD- and something that Adele is sure to be donning on the red carpet in no time.
