Bachelorette alumni including Ali Fedotowsky, Emily Maynard and Jason and Molly Mesnick were reportedly among guests.
The outdoor ceremony, officiated by The Bachelor host Chris Harrison, will air on ABC for all fans to see later this month. Until then, Hebert, a 28-year-old dentist from Madawaska, Maine, is revelling in sharing the moment with her husband, friends and family.
Hebert told People: 'Today is all about our friends and family. It's about standing with J.P., looking around at all the people we love in the same room there to celebrate our love.'
The couple asked guests donate to non-profit organisation New York Cares rather than give gifts.
'It’s a very important cause to J.P. and me!' she tweeted late last month in a mention about their registry.
Hebert and Rosenbaum met on season seven of The Bachelorette. He proposed in Fiji in May 2011.
They now live together in the New Jersey suburbs, and celebrated their one-year anniversary last Memorial Day weekend with a romantic trip to Cancun.
Back in June, the bride-to-be told Celebuzz she Rosenbaum would begin nailing down the details of their nuptials in July.
Ruminating over whether she would be willing to air their special day for millions, Hebert said: 'I would get married on TV, only if we had the kind of control we wanted.
'We don’t want it to be a circus. We want it to be a real wedding. I they give us any reason that it isn’t going to be what we want, we won’t do it.'
Hebert is currently completing a speciality in paediatric dentistry at St Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, while Rosenbaum works for New York-based J Companies.
She became The Bachelorette after she was rejected in season 15 of The Bachelor by Brad Womack, who went on to become engaged to winner Emily Maynard.
Maynard and Womack broke up and she became the latest star of the Bachelorette for season eight, which ended with her engagement to Jef Holm. The couple broke up in October.
Hebert rejected a marriage proposal from Ben Flajnik to be with Rosenbaum, and he enjoyed his own season as The Bachelor which led to his engagement to model Courtney Robertson, but the pair have also split.
The newlywed couple is only the second from The Bachelor franchise to marry in 24 seasons. Trista Rehn met her husband, Ryan, on The Bachelorette in 2003.
