Harry's birthday wishes to a comrade's daughter: Prince sends handwritten note from the front line

Prince Harry appeared to have made a little girl’s birthday extra special yesterday by sending her a personal letter from the front line.
Isabelle, whose surname and age are not known, was the  surprise recipient of a handwritten ‘happy birthday’ note signed ‘love from Harry’.
The prince seems to have taken time out from his duties as an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan to pen the birthday wishes.

Isabelle may be too young to know who Prince Harry is, but her doting father certainly does.
He is serving alongside the 28-year-old royal, and asked Harry to write the note, according to a friend of the little girl’s mother.
She posted the picture on Twitter last night with the message: ‘My friend’s little girl’s birthday today, and her dad’s in afghans (sic) with Prince Harry, and Harry sent her a letter!’
The letter says: ‘Dear Isabelle, You’re too young for me to write anything that will make sense, but hopefully when you’re older, you’ll be able to laugh at the fact that your dad got me to sign this in Afghanistan!’
It ended: ‘Happy Birthday and “Nice Hat!”, Love from Harry.’Harry's birthday wishes to a comrade's daughter: Prince sends handwritten note from the front line.
Last night royal watchers said the handwriting closely resembled Harry’s.
Clarence House was unable to confirm the authenticity of the letter.
