She's about to launch a vintage fashion line. But on Thursday it was just a casual affair for Eva Mednes as she headed out in Santa Monica with her trusty pet pooch Hugo. Nonetheless,
the 38-year-old actress looked impressively chic, showing off her
fantastic figure in a form-fitting black top, teamed with jeans.

opted for a retro style, looking like she had stepped out of the Sixties
in a bold floral print frock and knee-high boots during a Hollywood
Meanwhile, her boyfriend Ryan Gosling was across town in Studio City looking super casual in a sweater, jeans and jacket. Eva was seen leaving the Sunset Tower hotel in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

The drop waist dress was navy with white and red polka dots, and also adorned with a pretty yellow flower design. Paired with the brown leather shoes which boasted pointed toes, Eva looked every inch the adorable hippie chick. The boots also had a slight platform
which gave the 5ft 6in star a boost and she completed her accessories
with a soft leather brown handbag and sunglasses. Many are envious of Eva’s great style, and fans of the star will soon be able to get their hands on a taste of her wardrobe.

The actress has partnered up with
New York & Company to create Eva by Eva Mendes, which will be an
affordable vintage-inspired fashion line.
'In this day and age where everybody
has a stylist... I love feeling like an individual,' Eva told WWD. 'I
want to share all these little tips with women.' Eva,
whose stylist is Rachel Zoe, will have an active role in the design
process and will also star in the campaigns for the line of eveningwear,
casualwear and accessories. The
collection will launch in New York & Company stores in autumn and
Eva hinted it will have a vintage feel as she admitted that she loves
'anything that winks to yesteryear'.
